Help Me in Helping the Homeless

So the situation has changed quite a bit; so too must the campaign itself:

The VA managed to pay me unexpectedly late last month—a surprise, to be sure, considering both my education debts to them and the government shut-down. The pay-out was quite substantial too; I received enough to cover rent, other bills and expenses, and then some, and it has very much reassured me about my prospects going in to the new year. I have been able to pay said rent, renew my lease, and continue to feed myself.

With that said, I have decided to move forward in taking on a Seattle homeless couple (pictured), one of whom is pregnant. I have been corresponding with them for a while and sending them what little I had left via my credit lines; this has been going on since mid November.

Eventually, they opted to consult with a religious support group for assistance in booking a flight here to Denver, Colorado, to live with me. The general, long-term plan is that they'll stay here as my informal dependents to work and recuperate until they become economically stable enough that they could expect to live in this flat on their own and raise the child there-in. Being now employed myself, I expect that this will be more than feasible.

In the mean time, I would like to add one of them officially as a tenet on my lease to avoid any potential entanglements with keeping them here. To do this, at least one of us needs to have a particularly good credit score to over-come the algorithms flat companies use to vet their tenets in room mate scenarios. I just so happen to have one, albeit it's temporarily diminished right now on account of my exhausted main credit line; hence, the USD$2500 goal. This is the only significant negative factor affecting my score. Were it to be paid, said scores would jump straight back up through the 700's.

I would like to make this happen as soon as possible for the reasons above. These two are desperate, deserve a break, and have put a lot of trust in me to see this through and I intend whole-heartedly to do so. Any help what-so-ever is appreciated.

Thank you.
