Melody Doing A Skydive For NAS

Donation protected
Thankyou for visiting my page.

My name is Melody. I am an 18 year old from Watford who has Aspergers Syndrome. My younger brother has Autism and ASD also runs in my family in other areas. I have decided, having watched my father do a skydive a while ago for charity, to do a skydive myself for a cause that's close to my heart. The NAS (national autistic society) is that cause. My mother is a registered fundraiser and does so via a Lego club for children with Autism, Aspergers and many other disabilities. I wish to fundraise like my parents do.

My brother, who has autism, has shown me some of the most amazing things in life. Such as how to appreciate everything that comes your way for its beauty and how to respect everyone for who they are. He is one of the most precious things in my life and I truly admire him.

Having recently been diagnosed with AS myself, I have come to learn how being different isn't about being 'special', it's about being unique. Being an individual that can be proud to operate in ways others could only dream of. It's about accepting and being proud of who you are, as well as those who love and look after you.

I would be greatful for any donations of any amount toward my venture in this.

Please consider, one of the best things in life, is doing something to help those less fortunate. And that's something I wish to do.
