My name is Pam Campbell, on March 31st, 2015 my 19 year-old daughter had severe pain in her right side. On the way to the ER she had a seizure, lost consciousness and stopped breathing. Upon arrival to the ER, the CT scans reported she had a severe Kidney infection and her Brain Scan reported a tumor on her right temporal lobe.

She was immediately transferred to Jersey Shore Medical Center, to the neurological unit. She had surgery to remove the tumor the Monday after Easter. The pathology report stated that it was Epithelioid Glioblastoma, a rapidly reoccurring type of cancer, very rarely found in young adults.

My daughter, Eryn Grace, has to under go 6 weeks of very aggressive radiation, five days a week, and 42 days of chemotherapy. Being a single mother of five children, the youngest being seven, I was unable to return to work for 8 weeks due to Eryn’s condition. The financial burden has become devastating itself. 

Every single one of us fears this situation, but imagine actually living it.
