CJ's ALS medical expenses

I am writing this update on behalf of my dear friend and mentor C.J. who has been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease and because of her diagnosis requires a wheelchair accessible van in order to accommodate her medical appointments and medical expenses not covered by medicare.
C.J. called me and told me of her diagnosis of ALS. Honestly I was in disbelief and still find it inconceivable that someone as spiritually fit and powerful as C.J. has been diagnosed with a physically debilitating disease, which is killing her nerves and atrophying the muscles in her body. In just over 3 years, C.J. is having difficulty walking and the disease has progressed from her wearing braces on her legs to walking with a cane, to now being supplied with a power chair in order to be mobile. In order to accommodate her power chair she now needs a wheelchair asscessable van.                             As I mentioned C.J. is a woman of service, love, and faith, as well as embodying a spirit of triumphant perseverance. Family and friends are the cornerstone of C.J.’s existence.
In closing, I hope I have conveyed to you the depth of C.J.’s selfless and spiritual prowess. Even in the midst of this storm, an ALS diagnosis, C.J. has been steadfast in her faith and seeing this as a blessing and knowing that good is unfolding through this process. Never has she complained or seen herself as a victim, allowing for her spirit to continue to shine. I am amazed at C.J.’s resilience and supernatural strength. C.J. is extraordinary and unique in her ability to persevere. Through it all – prosperity and adversity, C.J. is unrelenting in her faith and service. C.J. continues her commitment to her spiritual practice and her service to her family and friends, always calling me to pray for me and checking in to see how I am doing, putting me first before her own needs. My name is CJ Felton and I was diagnosed with ALS in August 2012. My condition has declined to where I can no longer get into a vehicle that is not wheelchair accessiable, and medicare is no loger covering many of my prescriptions and medical expenses.
That's my faithful service dog Buddy. He has saved my life more than once when I've fallen out of my wheelchair.
I am asking for help with ALS related medical expences not covered by medicare. And for a Wheelchair accessable van, which I need right away. I travel to another state for my ALS doctor appointments.
I am deeply grateful to anyone and everyone who helps me get the wheelchair van and assist me with taking care of my madical expences. Thank you, CJ.
