Davis Bay Elementary Greenhouse

We are a group of parents, teachers and elementary school children at Davis Bay Elementary School on the Sunshine Coast of BC trying to build a community greenhouse for learning and healthy eating!
Our goal is $15000 that will be used to pay for things like electrical installation, proper drainage, and whatever other building materials and expertise we can’t get through donations.
We’d like to get the greenhouse built by this spring so our kids can plant before the summer break and harvest their crop when they return in the fall. We see a place where local school-kids can get together with seniors and other community members to grow, harvest, and even prepare great food.
On behalf of every kid who finds out how delicious a garden-fresh snap pea, cherry tomato, or carrot can be if you grow it and pick it yourself, we will all be thankful for any GoFundMe support we receive.
