Cop's Dream vs. Publisher's fees

Hi, 
My name is Ben. I am the son of seasoned police officer and father of 9 children ( some of which are adopted) Chris LeGrow. 
I have created this profile because my dad has accomplished something worth donating towards. He has taken his life-long, natural skill of story telling and has written a book!!
Anyone who knows and loves my dad, knows him for two things: his love of stories and his love of sweets. :)
Sweets he gets whenever my mother allows him to go to the store by himself. Gotta love him...

Prior to being a police officer, he and my mother spent the prime 10 years of their life serving at Boystown. With a safe home and plenty of laughter - my parents watched these young girls grow into wonderful polished women. 

All that being said - He needs our help. 

His book his hilarious, witty, and a qualified cop-funny tale. BUT! It won't make it to the shelf if we don't help...
Your contribution would help cover the expensives currently being charged to my dad by the publisher. Since he is an unknown author, he has to front money just to get the process started.
