HELLO ALL !!
For our second year in a row we have set out to complete a volunteer trip and continue the on going efforts to improve Kurland Village, South Africa . The trip entails ongoing building projects, afternoon sessions with the children where we can interact and help encourage healthy living, continued educational growth and the goal to instill within them that love is the most powerful thing we have in this life. I have created this GOFUNDME page in hopes of being able to finance some of our expenses with the help of all of you.
In 2018 a group of 17 individuals and myself led an extremely successful trip to South Africa for 17 days, we were able to refurbish an entire preschool, two playgrounds and repaint a public sports facility in our time ! THANK YOU TO ALL WHO DONATED !!
Last years group was able to accomplish so much with our time we were able to take on multiple small projects in between the larges ones above but this is only the tip of the ice berg. There is plenty of work that still needs to be done and persistence is key!

TRAVEL
1. Plane Tickets
2. Transportation to and from Airport to Kurland Village and back
3. Lodging
4. Transportation to Village from “Rocky Road”
VILLAGE PROJECT
1. Hiring/Paying of Kurland Tradesmen to assist on the home repairs
2. Equipment (Hand Tools, Blades, Safety Wear, etc.. )
3. Materials (Lumber, Nails, Paint, etc.)
4. Collecting/Shipping of Clothing and School Supplies
I have set our goal at $20,000 with the ambition of being able to hire enough tradesmen from the village to not only take on a large project but to create income for these families and put the money back into Kurland Village where it is needed most. Any extra will go towards our lodging and travel in hopes of making this trip as affordable as possible for all our volunteers. THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who has donated and taken the time to share our mission. We sincerely appreciate your help and hope this inspires someone else to lend a helping hand.
