Unstoppable Jaxon needs a New Home

Donation protected
The Klimeck family is medically complex with an imminent need to move closer to their son Jaxon’s primary hospital. They are seeking housing in a new community as the hospital in their current community can no longer support Jaxon’s extensive medical needs.  It is not safe to continue living such a distance from his medical care. The housing market poses a significant challenge due to their non-negotiable needs in providing a safe living environment for each of them.  Additionally, all living costs are much higher in their new community.

Little Man Cub, Jaxon, was born in October of 2016 at 27+2 weeks weighing 1 lb 9.8 oz. He has been on oxygen his whole life and has a feeding tube. He was diagnosed in 2018 with Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (SJIA) and in late 2018 diagnosed with a severe lung disease related to his SJIA that can be fatal.

Jaxon has required airlifting and numerous ambulance rides to his primary hospital due to the distance from necessary care. In 2018, he had 10 inpatient stays and already in 2019, he has required inpatient stays monthly. Despite all of these challenges, Jaxon lives fully and joyfully alive and remains unstoppable.

With your help, the Klimeck’s will be able to move closer to the place that can care for him best.

There are particulars about the home the Klimeck’s are looking for. Jaxon requires flooring that his feeding pole can easily glide on. His 27-foot oxygen cord requires a smaller home and particular floor plan to allow him to access most of the house. Jaxon also requires a bedroom right next door to his Mommy & Daddy’s so they can respond right away at night if his saturation monitor is beeping signaling that he is having respiratory issues.

Jaxon’s Mama Bear, Lacey, has medical concerns of her own. She has a rare myopathy (muscle disease) which affects her ability to safely navigate stairs and certain types of flooring, especially while caring for Jaxon.

Their main concern is that their next home is move-in ready and that it’s safe for Jaxon’s lungs.

Moving is a bittersweet thing for the Klimeck’s, more bitter than sweet right now. They are humbly asking for help. First, please pray for a smooth transition and safety for Jaxon as they actively await this move. Secondly, kindly consider donating whatever your heart may lead to financially support their search for a home.

The Klimeck’s are a single income household as Jaxon requires full time medical care that Lacey provides. All funds raised will be used toward a down payment on a home to call their safe haven. The larger their down payment, the more manageable their ongoing housing expenses will be.

Thank you kindly for your love and support of Jace, Lacey, and Jaxon during their transition.
