Africa Round 2

Ever since the beginning of high school I have always dreamed of going to Africa, and this past summer that dream become a reality. I had the incredible opportunity to live in Zambia for two months and I absolutley fell in love. As soon as I took my first step on African soil I was already planning my return trip. Which is why Im so so excited to be able to return just 5 months later, but this time I will be going to Uganda with Clemson FCA.  We will be in Uganda from December 27-  January 6 at Canaan Children's home and other ministries throughout Jinja and Kampala. Uganda has a special place in my heart because Katie Davis's (missionary in Uganda who served her first year at Canaan) book, Kisses from Katie,  wrecked my life in the best way possible and was the catalyst in me pursuing missions more seriously. 
 
While I was in Zambia, the Lord revealed to me what I'm truly passionate about, and I learned to dream big because His plans for my life are so much bigger than anything I could ever believe I'm capable of. During those 2 months God placed a burden on my heart for children who don't have a place to call home and who don't have anyone to care for them and tell them that they are loved. I met kids who daily had to experince things no child should ever have to go through. The Lord has given me a desire to help end that so my dream is to either work at or start an orphange one day.  I'm so fortunate to come from a loving family that is able to provide food, clothes, and a roof over my head. There are far too many children who don't have that so that's why I want to go to Uganda and live and work in an orphanage for 8 days. God loved me so much he sent His son to die for me so I just want to spend my life showing others that same love.

I John 4:11 "Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another"

So in under for this to all work out, I need your support. Most importantly I need prayer warriors who will daily lift up my team and myself. Also I will need financial support because plane tickets are veryexpensive.
