Help Heather and Lucas After Fire
Donation protected
On the morning of December 6, 2015 Heather and Lucas's house in Presque Isle, Maine, went up in flames. After hours of trying to save it the firemen were forced to give up and work instead to contain the fire. Before it was engulfed a few firemen were able to save a handful of their Christmas gifts, but everything else was lost. We are thankful, however, that they and their two small boys are all safe!
This campaign is to help them rebuild. They are a young couple who had just moved into the home. They were renting and had only been there for a couple of months. Heather recently graduated college and is a nurse. She needs to replace her scrubs so she can get back to work, as well as clothes for the boys and Lucas. Anything we can do will help them with a deposit on a new rental, toys, and necessities.
There is a Facebook group discussing other forms of donations, but this Go Fund Me is for people who want to donate financially. Every single penny will go to Heather and Lucas as they rebuild their lives.
God Bless.
Edit: This Facebook event is where people are organizing themselves to make other kinds of donations.
