Rebuild Port A

Dear Friends and Family,

As we have seen on the news in recent days, Port Aransas, Texas was one of the cities wiped out by a category 4 hurricane on Friday, August 25. The storm left the city in ruins; home and business damages are yet to be determined as residents have been instructed not to return to what is left of their city.  

I am hoping to raise $10,000 to be donated to The Episcopal Church of West Texas (Trinity by the Sea on Trojan St.). It has been declared the distribution point for donations from across the diocese and nation. They will be providing day shelter for workers and acting as the distribution point for the material needs of the community.

This is where the money will go.  It will be used to help with anything that the workers will need while they are helping to clear the area. The money will be withdrawn and my family will be delivering the money to Pastor James.

I am raising money because Port A means everything to me. My family lives there and I want them to have a city to return to.
