Trent's DCI Dream

Any and all funds will go to helping me march my second season with Southwind Drum and Bugle Corps.  Well What is Drum and Bugle Corps or DCI? As stated by the official DCI wiki it is…

“Drum Corps International (DCI), formed in 1972, it is the non-profit governing body for junior drum and bugle corps in the U.S.A. and Canada. Junior corps are composed of members 21 years of age and younger. DCI is composed of member corps who have earned their membership through audition.”~Wiki date viewed 1/23/16

Why should you fund me? Well, the biggest thing it’ll do is open the window to many life opportunities for me.   It’ll get my name out to many of the big professors and people in this musical sport.  It’ll also get me a better music education.  Some of the best Musicians/Composers/Choreographers teach in Drum Corps International.  For example Marty O’Donnell, Robert W. Smith, John Mackey, and many more! All work in this Amazing sport of marching.

Not only does it help me musically… It has helped me learn more about myself.  Southwind taught me to belive in what I do.  I’ve learned to Smile when I hurt; to push through no matter how hard; to enjoy everything I am and everything I do…  Not only that but it has Created so many memories…  Good and bad, and to be honest; I love each and every single one.  This is what DCI has done for me, And I'd love to do it again.
