My name is Jeff Medio and Matt Gibbons has been a very close friend of mine since we met during football camp our freshman year at Franklin & Marshall college.
Matt's wife is Holly Gibbons and she has been a very good friend of mine since they first started dating. Matt and Holly were married on October 5, 2012 and I was honored to be a part of the ceremony. They are blessed to have three beautiful children - Zoey, Juliet, and Matthew.
In late January of this year, Holly was diagnosed with a brain tumor. In advance of the surgery, Matt surprised the family with a trip to Disney World to make some good memories that will help them through the tough days ahead. Holly had a crainiotomy and resection in late February, after which her medical team was able to perform a biopsy on the tumor. Holly was diagnosed with Anaplastic Astrocytoma, which is a grade III tumor. In order to combat the tumor, Holly will have to undergo radiation and chemotherapy at Jefferson Hospital for five days per week over the course of six weeks.
This site is dedicated to raising money for the Gibbons Family to help them with their expenses associated with Holly's treatment.
Please keep Holly and the Gibbons Family in your thoughts and prayers.
