Hi, I’m Andrew, Thea’s dad.
Thea is 10 years old and one of the very few girls competing at a national level in UK karting. She races in the Daniel Ricciardo Series and the BIKC championship, two of the most competitive junior karting series in the country.
She doesn’t just turn up. She improves every single time she gets in a kart. She competes against fields dominated by boys, qualifies on merit, and fights for every position on track.
But none of this comes without cost.
We’re raising to fund Thea’s 2027 Daniel Ricciardo Series season in full. This covers race entry fees, travel and accommodation to events across the UK, and professional coaching to help her continue developing as a driver.
Coaching in particular is something we believe will make a significant difference. At this level the margins between drivers are small. The right coaching at the right time could be the difference between good and exceptional.
Every penny raised goes directly toward keeping Thea on that grid.
She is one of the only girls in her field. She is proof that girls belong in motorsport. And she is just getting started.
If you believe in what she’s doing, even a small contribution keeps her racing.
Thank you for supporting Thea’s journey
and check out her story further on Instagram at @thea_karts.
