On November 7th, 2025, my world changed forever when my son Tyler was found in his apartment under suspicious circumstances. The local police suspended the investigation into his death by firearm only a few hours after finding his body. No forensic testing was done—no gunshot residue tests, no examination of the weapon, and no thorough review of the scene. As a grieving mother, I was rushed into making decisions about his remains because I couldn't afford a burial, and I am still struggling to process the loss and the lack of answers. I am a single mom raising my children on my own, including my 14-year-old special needs son. Living with a disability means I am unable to work, and the financial burden of seeking justice for Tyler is overwhelming. There are many inconsistencies in the reports and documents, and I believe my son deserves a proper, independent investigation.
