Hi, My name is Keyanna. I am looking for some help. I’m looking to scatter my mother’s ashes in California but I live in Louisiana. I am planning on doing this for her birthday, which is August 29. My mom loved Long Beach, CA, and wouldn’t have left, but she didn’t have a choice. My mom had 7 children in all (including me), but her other children aren’t able to help. Since I am the one with her ashes, I don’t think having her sitting in a corner is fair. She deserves to be free. I want to take her back home and scatter a little bit at her mom's (my grandma's) gravesite and the rest at the beach, but as you can imagine, it’s a bit too expensive for my pockets. I’m NOT looking for the entire trip to be paid for, but I am looking for a little assistance in making this happen. The room is $463 (plus $150 deposit), rental car $231, flight $255, totaling about $1,100. My mom didn’t ask for much out of life, and I just want to do something nice for her. You are not obligated in any way to help, but I am hoping and praying you see the good in what I am trying to accomplish. Please!
