Her determination is incredible! She’s a hardworking scholarship hunting & applying machine. She’s already earned a partial scholarship & continues to apply for more. Over spring break, she completed the Chicago Park District Lifeguard School & is now certified. She worked really hard over the summer Lifeguarding at Chicago’s 31st St Beach and on her days off from the beach, she worked at a boutique in our neighborhood. I’m especially proud as she continued to work AFTER school until the beach closed on Labor Day. She accepted a Lifeguarding job at University of Chicago’s indoor pool and still works at her boutique: Effortless Look Headquarter gigs - whenever the opportunity presents. We are raising $14,500 by Nov 20th to make this opportunity possible. Her work earnings and your generous donations are getting her closer every day! We have $858.87 to go!
