<div>We educate students at school functions, visitors at the Berlin Airlift Memorial at Frankfurt airport and a variety of different events throughout each year.

<div>Recently we came across this C-47 cockpit. Our association's constitution does not allow the purchase of such an item, and we don’t have such amount at all.

<div>Wir halten die Geschichte von der Berliner Luftbrücke “am Leben”.

<div>Zufällig haben wir dieses Cockpit gefunden. Unsere Satzung erlaubt uns allerdings nicht, dass wir so etwas Tolles mit Vereinsgeld kaufen dürfen; und der Verein verfügt auch nicht über eine solche Summe. Das Cockpit würde aber unserer lehrenden Aktivitäten unterstützen, bei denen wir Schülern in Projektwochen bzw. Schulveranstaltungen, aber auch Besucher am Luftbrückendenkmal vom Flughafen Frankfurt, oder auch bei sonstigen Veranstaltungen, die Geschichte der Berliner Luftbrücke 1948-1949 mit fundiertem Hintergrundwissen näher bringen.
