<div>When Navy Veteran Patriotic Kenny's mobility scooter broke down, he was heart broken. You see, that scooter was the ticket out of isolation and access to his beloved community. Because he has COPD and cannot walk long distances, he was fully reliant on his scooter to get to and from the outside world -- to connect with his friends and neighbors he loves and brings joy to.

<div>But, when his community learned about Kenny's loss, they rallied around him to buy a brand new, top-of-the-line scooter that knocked his socks off! You may have seen his overwhelmed and emotional reaction to the first GoFundMe we set up to fund the scooter purchase.

<div>Since so many thousands of people from around the world stepped up to support Kenny, he couldn't help but want to give back to other Veterans who are also in need of scooters to get around in their day-to-day lives. "Why not just go through the VA"? Books could be published with the stories of loved ones passing before they made it through the red tape, if they qualify at all. Not only that, but the scooters that are eventually provided are not the best quality and usually require maintenance not long after purchasing. These veterans deserve better!

<div>Kenny is starting this GoFundMe page with the goal of raising money to purchase and donate mobility scooters to Veterans in need. Funds raised and scooter purchasing logistics will be managed with Kenny by Amanda Kline, trusted friend, local teacher, and the original GoFundMe's organizer.

These scooters are $2,300 MSRP scooters, but out of the generosity of a scooter provider, we're able to get them at a discounted price so each dollar goes further. End Isolation in Veterans through Mobility Scooters!

<div>Kenny is a 79-year-old SPIRITED Navy veteran who has COPD. He uses his mobility scooter to get around to the coffee shop, to veterans park, to the church dinners, to the gas station, and more. His mobility scooter is his ticket out of isolation in his home, as he cannot walk long distances. Anyone who has the gift of being blessed with Kenny’s presence is better for it

<div>Recently, his scooter started burning up while he was riding it and it would quit working. A scooter technician came out for two hours and called for further assistance too and deemed the scooter no longer able to be repaired because it is a 2003 scooter and they don’t make parts for it anymore.

<div>This donation would buy a great scooter for a great man, including a ramped trailer hitch for behind the car, ramp for the yard for safety, a cover, a coffee cup holder, a storage bag, and of course some new flags and decorations.  Kenny and his family have asked me, Amanda Kline his neighbor and good friend, to manage all aspects of this fundraiser and I couldn't be more honored!
