hi everyone, thank you so much for all the support. today it has been confirmed that the one missing cat, Kujo, had tragically died in the fire due to smoke inhalation. his body was found under my brother’s bed. this cat meant the world to this family, especially my younger sister, who was the formal owner. rest in peace, Kujo

I'm raising funds for my my dad, stepmother, and siblings after a fire destroyed most of their house and damaged several neighboring homes. Right now, they are devastated, heartbroken, and scared as they face so much uncertainty. They do not have home insurance because of complications with the previous owner of the house, which has left them in an incredibly difficult position as they try to figure out what comes next. The Ruiz family has seven people and is currently staying with my dad's brother in a house that is already full with a big family. That living situation is not something they can manage comfortably for long, so their biggest need is finding a new home in Shamokin / Coal Township, Pennsylvania. They have a cat and a dog with them, but one of their beloved cats had tragically died due to smoke inhalation. Any donation will help the us take the first steps toward stable housing and replacing what was lost in the fire.
