<div>Je verliefde hart gevolgd naar Duitsland en daardoor je opleiding later dan gepland kunnen starten. Je relatie na vele jaren beëindigd, maar het is je dan toch mooi gelukt om je opleiding met succes af te ronden en direct een baan te vinden!

<div>Je hebt twee maanden gewerkt en dan slaat in een half uur tijd het noodlot toe: je beide benen raken verlamd door een zeer zeldzame auto-immuun aandoening, genaamd 'Myelitis Transversa', waarbij het ruggenmerg ontstoken raakt en belangrijke functies uitvallen; je belandt in een rolstoel en opeens staat je leven op z'n kop.

<div>Door het zéér zeldzame (lees: 1 op de 250.000-1.000.000 mensen) is er een foutieve diagnose op papier gekomen, welke tot op de dag van de vandaag zorgt voor problemen met instanties waardoor de broodnodige hulpmiddelen worden afgewezen en dus niet vergoed. Mede daardoor wordt, inmiddels ruim 2 jaar verder, de verlamming alleen maar erger en gaan de armen en handen nu ook langzaam uitvallen. De huidige uitkering is bij lange na niet genoeg om de extra onkosten voor een aangepaste rolstoel met hulpmotor te dekken. Hierdoor zit je nu aan huis gekluisterd en kan je niet zelfstandig boodschappen doen, doktoren bezoeken en überhaupt genieten van het buitenleven. Dan is er nog niet gesproken over de niet te declareren kosten voor medicatie en huisvesting; lang leve de alom bekende 'paarse krokodil'...

<div>Bovenstaande rollercoaster overkomt onze lieve, strijdbare dochter, (schoon)zus en tante van inmiddels dus 'pas' 31 jaar oud. Helpt u haar haar leven weer enigszins op de rit te krijgen?
