Gas, Groceries & General Survival

My husband and I have been down on our luck for what seems like forever. It's especially hard right now since he's been unemployed the last few months while trying to apply for disability. We've exhausted every resource possible to pay our bills on time but they still have a disconnect notice attached to them. We've been surviving on ramen noodles and balogna sandwiches for ages now and it's been a real struggle just to put gas in the car to get me back and forth to work. As of right now, we have next to nothing in our fridge or pantry and we're sitting at a quarter tank of gas with no money in our account to afford more of either. We just need to come up with enough money to cushion us between my pay days so that we can afford to pay both bills, gas in the car and healthy groceries to keep us going until he gets approved for disability. Any help is sincerely appreciated.
