Help Mohan rebuild his village

Over Christmas 2014, Pauline Quinn, Fiona Nic Ailile and Angelina Foster hiked the Ghoripani trek over 5 days. We trekked through majestic mountains, inhaling aerial views of the Himalayas as we climbed up, looking down on terraced fields, around and below us the linear patterns wound around the mountainsides. Nepal as a country and it’s people get under your skin, long after we left it filled our thoughts unexpectedly.
Mohan our trekking guide, is from the Gorkha region in Nepal. After the first earthquake we were worried as we knew he was from the area but he contacted us to say he was safe but his entire village was destroyed. Ram one of our porters, is a student in Kathmandu, he was working as a porter to pay his way through
university.His father died a few years so there is only Ram and his Mum.
These funds are help Mohan and Ram re-build their houses before the Monsoon Season. Since the earthquake they have been living in tents with their elderly parents.
