Trop Storm Lidia Los Cabos relief

August 31st, 2017 a day that was savagely and violently carved into our beautiful towns San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. Tropical Storm Lidia came in with such fury and claimed lives, homes and businesses.
However, we the people of Los Cabos are strong and come together during the worse of times. Almost exactly 3 years ago we experienced Hurricane Odile who tried to take us down but did not succeed. We thought it was the worse we could ever see in our beloved town, yet Lidia proved us wrong. The ammount of water and destruction she left in her path is beyond words. Images can only tell part of the story.
Today local volunteers unite once again to give their support and contributions to help those in desperate need.
The money that needs to be raised is to cover expenses such as gas for the vehicles to get supplies to even the most remote areas affected, we need food and water for our volunteers, we will purchase matresses for families in need, medical supplies, cleaning supplies and all other basic needed to keep our volunteer work going.
We are working with an amazing team of locals, people in each one of our communities who know exactly where help is desperatly needed and get it to the right places.
Even $5 dollars go a long way, as no donation is to small. I will keep each of you updated on the advances with photos and stories.
