Volunteer Work In Thailand ( Mae Sot )
I don’t want a hand out, I want your help. I am asking for your help to bring the world of football and education to children in Mae Sot, Thailand that would otherwise not have the opportunity.
We have the chance together to impact hundreds of lives not just for now, but for their future. Over the last year I have formed a connection with Playonside , Charity Base organisation Based in Mae Sot Thailand. We are in the early stages of developing Teaching and Coach Education in the area, developing facilities at underprivileged schools and running football coaching camps in the area, therefore we are in need of a variety of resources to grow and develop.
Since I have a strong passion for Football I have decided to travel to the area in Mid-August and help on the ground with the Coaches and Schools in the area.
I will travelling there at my own cost ,taking time off work and will help to develop Coach education in the area for 3 weeks approximately.
There is over 200,000 displaced Burmese and ethnic children on the Thai-Burma Border .One of the aims of my trip and project is to through football and coach education is to use football to reconnect the different communities living in Mae Sot Thailand.
I would like to ask that you may consider some sponsorship in relation to my travel expenses and much needed resources for providing the aid and support of our long term goal to develop an Academy structure into the future.
As part of my trip I will be documenting the trip and a video recording of the project will be made.
