Howdy all,
I've (nervously) volunteered to cut my hair off to help my VCAL students raise funds to build a community vegetable garden at our school.
All the produce grown in the garden will be donated to a foodbank in our local area that does a lot of hard work feeding families in need. It is our goal to provide them with a regular source of fresh vegetables for many years to come.
The big trim will take place towards the end of July and while I'd be stoked if we got to $500, I did mention to the students that if they raise $750 I'd get a dirty mullet.
The students have worked extremely hard to plan the garden and get the necessary approvals and I'll be very grateful for any support you can offer!
