Replace my stolen camera gear
Donation protected
Hello everyone. First off I would like to thank you for showing interest in my cause.
My name is Tress Chapin. I am a photographer and I am permanently disabled.
I am starting this campaign to raise funds for to replace my stolen camera and equipment.
Being permanently disabled because of an accident I could no longer work, and unable to be employed any longer I was able to turn my attention to my passion for witch I previously had no time: photography. My passion soon became my life and I invested all I had left after hospital bills, physical threapy, and receiving some back disability pay (ten thousand dollars) into my new trade. Ten thousand dollars being considerably more than I receive in disability payments yearly.
Things started looking up as it seemed support for my photography was beginning to grow and I traveled up to WA. To meet my grandson for the first time.
Unfortunately on my first day in WA. outside of Seattle my son grandson and I walked into a grocery store for no more than 20 mins. to discover his window smashed and my bag with all my gear stolen, midday, in a busy parking lot.
With no witnesses, and no cameras, the disinterested police officer told me good luck ever seeing any of it again; there was nothing they would do.
My life shattered with that window. Now broken, I ask you to please help me pick up the pieces. My career in photography cannot continue to grow without equipment and I fear I will never be able to support myself off of disability with your help.
Your time spent reading this and any donations to help me start over mean more to me than I can express.
I sincerely thank you
