Tragic and Sudden Death of Husband & Father

“Shane, I saw you ride out of our house on your motorcycle, knowing that you were going to be back in an hour. The hour passed but you did not come back; instead, I opened the door to the worst news of my life when two cops were at my door telling me that my husband had died in a motorcycle accident. My life has turned upside down, and I feel lost, scared, confused, and angry. Shane, you are my rock, my supporter, my soul mate. I don’t know how I’m going to pull through this journey of raising my daughters all by myself. I feel sad to know that our daughters will not be able to know the profound love you had for them, how much you cared for them, and what they meant to you. The thought that you won’t be able to walk with them on their wedding day that you won’t be able to kiss them goodnight and tuck them in or even to take them to school in the morning breaks my heart, but it is my reality. Shane, you are not here anymore, and I miss you; I’m worried I won’t be enough for the our girls. Shane, I need you.”
Those of you who know Nikki know that she and Shane never asked for anyone or anything. Shane was the kind of person that would give the shirt off his back for anyone. He was Nikki’s support system, her cheerleader, and her soul mate. One of Nikki’s biggest fears right now is not being able to financially support her girls and keep a roof over their heads, without the support of Shane. She will be undergoing major changes and will need major support. We are asking all those that have been touched by Nikki and/or Shane to help Nikki and her two young daughters by donating whatever you can, no matter how much or how little. The funds will aid in the financial support of Nikki and the girls and funeral costs. If you want to donate in other means, she will need Publix gift cards (she is very particular with food), child care assistance (picking up/dropping off the girls at school), and cleaning services. Nikki needs tremendous help with the house, cooking, cleaning, and helping her helping herself in this time of need. Thank you all for your continued support.
