Traci Cruz

Many of you who will be receiving this know me and know of my involvement with the Cruz/Murry family.  It's a long story.  Grandma (Traci) passed away yesterday.  2 years ago she adopted her 8 grandchildren and was caring for them. (It was the biggest single family adoption in the State of Florida).   Her daughter, Marcella and her boyfriend, Max (soon to be husband) who have two of their own children will take over the care of the 8 children.  I am asking for funds to help them through this transition.  They want to marry, move the kids into a bigger house, and most importantly keep them all together.  The children have been through multiple tragedies - their dad was killed in a drug deal, their mom spiraled down - physically and emotionally, became addicted to heroine.  This was where grandma and grandpa intervened and have done an incredible job caring, nurturing and making the kids feel loved, important and safe.  I have been there to witness this first hand and have helped along the way - and, so very grateful to all of you who have also reached out and given your time, gifts, donations, attention and encouragement.  Their adoption and the positive attention they have been given has proved to be so valuable, these kids have been doing great.  They were failing and now are excelling in school, they were shy and inhibited and now they are friendly and outgoing; I know we were making a difference.   The loss of their grandmother is going to be very difficult to adjust to.  They need to feel safe and know that people care and will take care of them.  Marcella and Max need financial assistance to make this process as smooth as possible.  

Help me help them.  Please pass this along to anyone you know of who is in a position to help financially, or otherwise.  The kids need our help.
