Nyah's Surgery

Nyah is our 5 year old American Pitbull. We rescued her as a 3 month old puppy from the Humane Society and over the years she has grown to be an irreplacable member of our family. She is one of the most caring and loyal dogs you could ask for --- she can often be found cuddling by our sides or laying next to our daughter's crib to make sure she is safe. Unfortunately, Nyah tore her ACL a few months ago while she was outside playing. It was slow-healing, but she was recovering quite well! However, in a moment's time, she recently tore her other ACL and Meniscus also. Since both of her back legs are now injured, and the second injury is worse than the first, we have been told that she will require surgery in order to ever truly recover.
With the many other financial obligations we currently have, and the status of our frozen contract, we are sadly just unable to afford her surgery at this point. It is truly humbling to reach out for help from others, but being in the position that we are, we decided we would heed the advice we were given by family/friends and try to raise some money for her surgery. If you have any ability to help, we would be extremely grateful. We are hopeful that we will be able to help Nyah return to her playful, mobile self!
