Tools for GCVFD's New Fire Truck!

The Grape Creek Volunteer Firefighters need your help! For the past few years, the Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department has worked really hard in obtaining a much needed new Pumper-Tender Fire Truck. We've needed a large water tanker truck for a long time, due to all the homes our VFD protects, that are surrounded by heavy brush and no fire hydrants close by! The good news is...We are on the verge of purchasing this new fire truck THIS FALL! This new fire truck will be paid for with 100% grant funding, saving our county & tax payers over $283,000! Obtaining this new fire truck is HALF the battle...it is crucial that we EQUIP our new fire truck with all the firefighting and rescue tools necessary to make our fire truck an effective and safe firefighting apparatus. Our VFD needs your help with this part, because firefighting & rescue equipment is very expensive. We need to raise a minimum of $30,000 to fully equip our new fire truck by this fall.
