Tom Brandt's Cancer Fighting Fund

Dear Friends,
Recently, my sisters husband, Tom Brandt was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer. Unfortunately it has spread to several locations in his body, to include his lung and brain, which is and will continue to make treatment very difficult.
As many of you are aware, Tom and Kim run their own small business in downtown Sumner. Many of the items which they sell in the shop are handmade by them and quite often, one of a kind. In this, it takes them many long hours to gather the necessary materials and produce what they sell. In addition, until just recently, Tom had a full time position outside of their shop, which is what provided approximately 80% of their income, as well as, medical insurance. Due to his current health condition he cannot work, which in turn, will terminate their medical coverage if they cannot pay premiums for the next 3 months, at a time when it is most needed. In order to maintain insurance coverage, they will need to pay the full premium out of their own pockets..........boy, talk about getting kicked when you're already down! Not to mention the extra burden placed on Kim to not only manufacture products, run the shop and assure that Tom has what he needs during this difficult time.
As as you can imagine this is taking its emotional toll on both of them. Lets unite to alleviate some of their financial burden during this season of giving.
We are targeting Jan. 1, 2017 to raise as much as possible towards our goal.
In closing, we are asking that each of you spread the word, and if possible, to make the most generous donation you are able to afford. Also, don't forget to keep Tom in your prayers for a full recovery.
