Single Mom in Need of Holiday Help

Hello Everyone!
I am coordinating this fundraiser for a very special and dear friend of mine. She is a resident of Coronado, a single mother of 2 elementary school aged children, and just lost her job. Unfortunately she is going to have to put in her 30 day notice to vacate her apartment. I feel as though I have a responsility to her not only as her friend, but also as a fellow Coronado neighbor to help her in any way that I can.
Considering it's the holiday season, It would be so unfortuante to see her pick up and move from the place her and her children call home. In a time of uncertainty, I think if we can all come together as a community and donate, we can make this Cristmas special for her and her children.
My thoughts are to raise enough money for her rent through December along Christmas presents and groceries.
If you find it in your heart to donate or want to be apart of giving hope to a young woman and her two children, anything would be appreciated. If you would rather offer a tangible gift, or grocery gift certificate, I can gladly collect those as well.
Some ideas for gifts for the kids are as follows:
Her son loves Pokemon, minecraft and starwars. He wears size 7 in clothes with a shoe size of 1.
Her daughter loves to read and she is very much into fashion, so fabrics and sewing materials would be amazing. She wears size 8/9 with shoes size of 3. Barns and Noble or Joanne Fabric gift cards would be perfect!
