Brandon's journey to Boston

My name is Amanda Meredith, and I am raising money for a young and determined man. Brandon Jauregui,  has been in a constant struggle with leukemia  for 2 and half years and unfortunately is still not in remission...
I remember visiting him in the hospital with a fat cat and a few friends, I only imagined it would have been downhill after that day... I was so wrong! Brandon thinks of himself as an outlier because according to studies, "Only 3-percent of cancers in children and young adults is chronic myeloid leukemia and the average age people get CML is 64. Eighty-percent of people diagnosed with cancer are also in full remission within two years."
I see Brandon and only see him as an outlier for not only winning the Santa Clarita Valley Half Marathon in 2013, but recently winning the Santa Clarita  Valley Marathon only 3 days ago on November 8th in only 2 hours and 35 minutes, all while he is fighting cancer. He qualified for the 2017 Boston Marathon. 

This money will be used to help Brandon through is training, get him the funds to register and run the LA Marathon in February 2016, then venture off to Boston with a round trip flight, registration for the Marathon, and a place to stay as well as food for a few days. 

This would mean the world to see Brandon compete because of all that he has faced. Life can throw some very unfortunate and unexpected obstacles in our way, but not even cancer can get in the way to stopping Brandon achieve goals.  Any little thing helps!
