TIME TO LOVE KOMAC UP, ASHLAND!!
Ok, so this sweet man named Komac has been committed for 15 years now to make a huge pot of soup (which he buys the ingredients with the limited dollars he has in his pockets) and he shares it freely with hungry people here in Ashland every Sunday around 5pm at the Gazebo in Lithia Park...
A few weeks ago, someone let me know know that his van is needing a few repairs so I blasted out a post into the community asking for help paying for his repairs and/or a mechanic that would be willing to meet us in Kindness and Ease....
So, last Saturday the mechanic showed up to his house and I met them there and listened in as well, and the repairs are A LOT...One example is his driver's side door is about to fall off, literally...I learned that when he drives he just holds it and hopes at every turn that it doesn't just fly off, also his transmission needs some work, his ac/heat doesn't work and the list goes on and on... so my newest thought has been can we just manifest a new van for Komac as a community...? And you, Ashland have really responded with hearts wide open (thank you so much) and there are a few people checking in to see what's possible to just get a van/vehicle donated to him...
So, now this Go Fund Me's intention is to support him with tag/inspections fees (and whatever else he needs to get his new car dialed in) and also the money is just for him personally and to support him getting soup ingredients...
Thank you to everyone who has donated energy already in some way and who plans on donating in the future....We are really supporting the entire community of Ashland by raising this man up...
Thank you so much for meeting me in this Vision....We are each so deserving of Ease in this world, I am clear of that.....Big love to each of your hearts now. <3
PS. We could hold this fundraiser open for a couple of weeks or until it makes sense to close it and transfer all of it over to him.... (and just the awareness that GoFundMe keeps 5% of whatever is raised, I just learned that this morning)
