Wael was and still continues to be someone who is deeply loved. He has touched my life and so many others, in unimaginable ways.
Wael lived his life as a noble person, never speaking ill of others. He was a pure soul, with a very generous heart, who valued my work with special needs and my passion for it. He was incredibly empathic towards the lives Building Blocks Therapy Centre works so hard on improving and changing for the better, always helping by recommending our services and spreading the word.
Although my company is a private company, I have always wanted to conduct my work for free but have been unable to due to financial constraints. I had previously made plans to develop a foundation or charity to enable families to gain access to funding for their therapeutic needs. Wael's passing has been a catalyst for these plans, I immediately started a foundation in his name.
Through the Wael Alsayed Foundation we hope to continue his work of selflessness, generosity, love and care for all. In his loving memory we hope that by developing the foundation in a spirit that befits him, we will ensure his great legacy lives on.
What is the Purpose of the Foundation?
The funding will allow children and families experiencing financial constraints to access support for psychological and general wellbeing, education, and health. Funding will also aid the homeless and those who are in need of financial support. Further, the foundation will allow financially constrained families access to free support and therapy programmes at Building Blocks Therapy Centre.
BBTC's Financial Input?
Along with donations from individuals and organisations, BBTC will periodically have some of our paying clients' session fees placed in the Wael Alsayed Foundation to help support children and families who are eligible for funding. Funds generated for the Wael Alsayed Foundation will be donated to a number of charities.
What Will the Money Fund?
Aiding financially constrained families
Supporting any homeless person or refugee
Basic gifts for orphanages in Egypt and other
Basic clothing and toiletries
Food and meals for homeless or financially constrained
Water dispensers in streets (Egypt and other)
Basic expenses to conduct therapy for pupils affected with Special Needs
Basic resources to conduct therapy sessions
Basic expenses to and from therapy sessions
Medical expenses or general assessments
Development of personalised resources
Charitable events for fundraising

Distribution of basic toys
Funding for local and/or overseas orphanages and care homes
Funding for families to help build homes, regulate water, distribute food and ensure a good standard of living in developing countries

We're starting right now! We are currently accepting donations from organisations and individuals, if you would like to contribute, please contact us today. In addition to this, we will soon be selling merchandise and resources to fund the foundation.
