The Sidney Summit

We are a collection of concerned citizens who believe we can do more locally to make the natural spaces that surround us healthier for all creatures. Old and young alike will benefit from greater attention to habitat and environment. The funds will be used to support this "one-time" event that will bring together not-for-profit groups, advocacy groups, habitat stewardship groups and the general public for a day of shared conversation. We need the funds to pay for the meeting hall, advertising, audio/visual, food, support for speakers and travel for youth. But most of all we need funds to keep the price of admission to a very minimum so the event is accessible to all. Our mantra is think global but act local. Our target audience knows no age boundary. All the constituents of local neighbourhoods are exceedingly grateful.
