Made up from all walks of life, Elektrolytes Dance Company is a compelling, high energy, and radical dance company that is not only is technically sound but visually appealing! Originally founded by Salvador "swerve" Banuelos and his brother, Nico Banuelos, in 2006 as just a high school dance team made up of young kids just longing to dance, Sal and Nico worked hard to make the Elektrolytes dance company a high caliber professional company. Later, adding six other members, the Elektrolytes accomplished their goals of competing and showcasing anywhere and everywhere possible in Arizona and eventually expanded their travels Worldwide. The Elektrolytes have competed and showcased in World of Dance Los Angeles and San Diego, winners of Hip Hop International 2011 and finished 7th in the world championship, winners of Americas Best Dance Crew Season 7 and season 8 runner ups on Mtv, showcased in London, England for World Dance Management, Africa's Sahara Energy Company, and Switzerland Dance 2 Dance international competition. The Elektrolytes have worked with many artists such as NE-YO, Flo-Rida, Skyblu (LMFAO), Daddy Yankee, JC Chasez, Lil'Mama, and choreographers Chris Scott, Scotty Nguyen, Rosero McCoy, and Neopolean and Tabitha Dumo. The Elektrolytes are committed to professionalism and creativity and most importantly inspiring others through their talents.
Now that the Elektrolytes have accomplished their goals as a crew, they are now looking to give back to the community. After all, if it weren't for the dedicated community of Gilbert, Arizona, and those who supported them nationwide, they would not have accomplished their goals. one of the ways the Elektrolytes give back to the community is by teaching dance classes and provideding kids in the community an opportunity to have a safe, affordable, place to train in their dance form judgement free. The Elektrolytes wish to dedicate their heart, soul, and passion, to those who are willing to learn.
In order to train the next generatation of dancers, the Elektrolytes are in need of a dance complex that can hold a large number of students. with many students coming into their current studio, they need to make enough room for all that want to be apart of it. in order to do that, the Elektrolytes are asking for seed money of $20,000 to put in motion "The Rise Dance Academy" we're kids will have the same opportunities that Sal and Nico had in their younger years.
Unfortunately, it was just learned as of March 1st, 2016, that the Elektrolytes, and other students and dance companies that share the studio under the Elektrolytes, are losing the studio that we have trained in for so long. The Elektrolytes and Rise Co. are reaching out to all whom wish to help. The companies and student need a new studio to practice in by the summer (June 1st, 2016). Nationally known dance companies that include The Elektrolytes, Elektro Elite, Elektrolyttlez, Elektro Botz, and the Outlawz all train in order to inspire and cultivate creativity. Without a place to train, these companies would lose the one place that have that pushes them to chase their dreams. Elektro Academy is by far the largest crew and the space we have now is not even close to big enough for what they need. Although they are grateful for the space they have, with a new studio they could have better training and rehearsal schedules. These companies could even start having more classes on a weekly basis for anyone who has dreams of being a dancer as well. With all of this being said, The Elektrolytes, and the companies and students that train with them, would like to ask for donations that would significantly push us forward to our goals of having a bigger dance studio. Anything would help. If you are capable of giving even just a few dollars these dance companies would appreciate it so much. They're all just a bunch of dancers trying to follow their dreams and they would love it if you helped them.
