MISSION AMATONGAS
Mission Amatongas is a Brothers of the Sacred Heart School located in Mozambique. With the aid of the Brothers in Africa, this community serves as a home for many kids that come from nothing. The students grow their own crops and tend to their livestock. It tries to be as low cost and efficient as it can be.
Mission Amatongas was hit with Cyclone Idai quiet recently. The two and buildings are practically destroyed. A majority of their food supply is gone because the storm hit during harvest season. They are relying on their diesel generators for fresh water and power; they're praying they will hold.
So why did I choose this school in Africa? Because it is a Brothers of the Sacred Heart Organization, just like my very own high school Saint Joes. If you wanna change the world, you've gotta start off by changing your community.
How can you help?
When you donate under TheGoodChange in the charity battle, you are impacting the lives of kids affected by cyclone Idai.
To put it in perspective of how far your donation can go, $300 would clothe, feed, and purchase books for a child for an entire year.
However, all the money I raise and donate will go to the Brothers of the Sacred Heart and they will do what is best with it in an effort to aid Mission Amatongas

Charity Battle

What: A battle between two teenage influencers, in which they are competing to see who can raise more money for charity in one week
