The Glasserie Rebuild

Dear Community,
We are the owners of The Glasserie, a glassworking studio, store and gallery in Silver City, New Mexico. This shop is our source of income with which we support our family of four. We started the business to bring something new to downtown; somewhere people could experience and watch the art of glassblowing firsthand. The studio is also a creation space for several other artists, and houses their equiptment and supplies and products with which they also make a living.
On the night of February 8th, someone broke through the locks on our shop's door with a crowbar. They stole our annealing kiln full of glass, two of the glassworking torches, which belonged to fellow artists, specialized glassworking eyewear, raw glass as well as a full case of glass products that were ready to be sold. They also stole our cash box and check book, they stole everything that we need to create the glass products we make and sell. They left our shop looted and broken. We are now trying to pick up the pieces and put our shop back together so we can continue working and creating a unique experience in Silver City.
First and foremost the money raised would be used to help the artists who lost their equiptment and products in the theft. Without torches, they can't make money. Having our business robbed and violated in this way is one thing, but this has negatively impacted several artists who were simply using our space. The donated funds will also help us regain some of what was stolen from us. We are currently working on securing our building to ensure that this doesn't happen again.
The funds are needed right away so that we can get these artists and ourselves back on our feet. The $5,000 goal is a rough estimate of our loss.
We already feel so supported by our community, many people have dropped by with condolences, many have offered help and time. Many people helped to spread the word via Facebook to create awareness and hopefully find the people who did the crime.
Any contribution would be so appreciated. Any offer of help or support in other ways would also mean the world to us.
