The Funk Underground is going on tour June 2016!
We're a group of live band Hip Hop artists and educators, and this June we'll be doing a 14 city national tour through Burlington, Montreal, Toronto, Hamilton, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Chicago, Cleveland, Rochester, Ithaca, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, and Providence.
We'll be performing at night, and during the day we'll be doing free educational workshops on Hip Hop arts and racial/gender inequality at local community centers and schools.
We're trying to raise money for the 15 passenger van rental, gas, food, and housing (when we can't stay with friends).
We equally love performing and teaching, and on this tour we'll get to do both all around the country (and in Canada). This means a huge amount to all of us, and any help you can give us is truly appreciated.
