It’s almost Winter and we need you in the Hunt.
“What began as an experiment has slowly but steadily grown into one of the most widely-read news magazines for modern Pagans, Witches, Polytheists, Heathens and Earth-based practitioners in the world.” We’ll soon be in our 15th year!
The Wild Hunt has been and will be here for you. But, you have heard us say this before: It costs money.
We just went through an editorial transition- and that’s no time to manage a campaign however small. But with the close of the calendar year, we invite you to pledge a tax-deductible gift.
We have hosting bills coming up as well as our usual personnel expenses for staff. We’re always embarrassed to ask for your money but it’s the only way we stay online. We work for you: the 60,000 followers on Facebook, the 25,000 followers on Twitter and our mailing list of almost 5,000 subscribers.
100% of our budget goes back into The Wild Hunt.
It works like this:
65% pays our editors and writers (though some don’t accept payment)
20% covers our technology needs
8% covers our fiscal management
7% our annual business costs
We know many of our readers can’t make ends meet. We need you to keep reading and sharing our work.
But if you can afford a donation, your support keeps us here and everyone reading Pagan News and Commentary.
