The Vodounou's - Harvey Recovery

Donation protected
Hi, we are the Staff of University High School in Waco, TX.  Recently we had a new Deaf Ed teacher join our team.  His name is Victor Vodounou.

Victor Vodounou and his wife Benoite
where greatly affected by Hurricane Harvey.  They lost everything.  Unfortunately, because they were in an aparment and not a house FEMA only help with their immediate needs.  Their insurance did not cover flooding either. Victor relocated to Waco for work after being displaced from Hurricane Harvey.  His wife is still in a shelter in Houston.

Below is a picture of their vehicles:

Here is a quick look at his and his wife's situation is as they face the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

• Lost all of their belongings including 3 vehicles
• Stayed in a shelter for weeks and his wife is still in a shelter in Houston
• He is currently staying in a small room at a coworker's house after having to relocate
• His wife had to stay in Houston with their older son and are living in a shelter

Here is the inside view of their apartment as the water subsided:

Housing is their biggest obstacle as they try to rebuild their life. Although it isn't ideal to be separated from loved ones this is what they had to do in order to start rebuilding their lives.
Here is Victor at a Shelter after being rescued:

This Gofundme campaign would give them the funds that they need to pay the required deposits and utilities.

We are trying to raise the funds by the end of the week as Victor will not have a place to go and will be forced into a shelter here in Waco.
