The Swains

In Loving Memory of Eric V Swain. He has left behind not only a grandmother, mother, sisters and brothers, and family, he has left behind 7 beautiful children ages 16-3 years old that still have needs only a father can provide. Im  reaching out to the public to help the mothers of the children that was left fatherless and also to gain awareness to what we lost and why the loss is so big. Eric was a charming gentleman who strived for greatness in everything that he did. He always wanted to leave something here on Earth that his family and kids will always have access to; to hear  his voice or see him. He turned to music where he would rap about his struggles as a man and a father. His goal in life was to make his kids happy about him being their dad. Eric Worked as Maintenance man for Community Action Organization and was suppose to start a new position at Gateway Home For Boys. He wanted to become more involved with our youth and to spread positivity amongst them. He was a hard worker and all around family man. As well as a loving and caring step-father. Eric was a victim of gun violence and was shot in a drive-by shooting on Thursday June 14, 2018 after he walked to the store late that evening. He had cooked dinner for his family and took a walk hopefully to return and chill with his son(Eric Jr 16) whom lives with him. This is a very unfortunate situation for these children and their mother's to deal with. My intentions is to raise enough money for the upcoming school year as Eric was very involved in his children's lives and hopefully we can raise enough to help get them summer clothes as well as  school clothes and supplies. This will never mend the pain they feel. But it will allow their mother's time to help them heal as they continue to live life and handle their everyday needs. I also intend to get their children keepsake necklaces that holds a piece of the Father's remains so that they always have him close which is the closest to a physical form they will get other than a picture and the memories they share. I'm hoping that those who knew and Love Eric support these children through this time of need. Because any positive support is needed. Not only did we lose a father we lost a friend a son, a spouse, we lost a genuinely good guy. Help me help these babies ♥️ because they need it.
