The Skebo Family Tradition Christmas Display

My name is Brandy. I am the first Granddaughter to Arthur and Eileen Skebo. As a child growing up in Southwest Detroit I was always recognized as the girl in the "Christmas House". I am grateful for all the memories. My reason for this page is to raise money for my Grandma Eileen Skebo. The money raised would help her and my Uncle Raymond to pay their DTE bill for the holiday season. Since the death of my Grandpa, (♡Arthur Skebo♡) it has been very difficult for them to keep the  Halloween and Christmas display tradition going. Lighting the dispalys is too costly for them. This tradition has been going on for over fifty five years, and I do not want it to stop. I feel that so many people who love these displays  would love to see it continue. So for the very first time after all these years, I am seeking the community and others to help reduce the burden of trying to pay the high electric bill my Grandma and uncle will encounter during the Christmas season. The cost of running the lights will go up five hundred dollars or more in addition to their normal bill each month. I hope that you could find it in your heart to donate and keep this tradition going at 7840 Gartner St. Detroit Michigan 48209. If this turns out successful, I will continue a gofundme page for them, during the Halloween and Christmas season, to help off set the expense of the displays. This will be the only way that they will be able to continue bringing joy to so many of us. Please help, so that the Southwest Detroit area won't lose a family tradition!
