The Shut It Down Kitchen Gets a Van

Hello Again! NYC Shut It Down is gonna buy a van, and we'd like your help in that project. As many of you know, we are a constantly growing organization and late last year, we shifted to include monthly food serves into our mission. As a militant Black Liberationist and Abolitionist organization we see survival programs like this are as imperative to the struggle as taking the streets.  We believe that with a van or small truck we can not only smooth out the often turbulent  process of putting on these food serves, but also expand them. It is our goal to, in the near future, serve food in our communities once a week, but we won't get there without your help. Please help us take this first step towards providing for our communities where capitalism has failed us, and keeping the people we seek to defend alive, fed and happy.
