For everyone that knows Frank and Lauren’s story, you all know how utterly excited they were to add to their growing family. Their enthusiasm was beaming out of their pores. Their excitement was palpable and we were all just as excited to celebrate the soon-to-be parents of a baby boy. They would give their daughter, Hailey a baby brother and begin their next chapter as a family together.
....Some would say they met a little later in their lives but those who know the pair, know that they met at exactly the right time. They were introduced at their church, True North where they are both actively involved. They hit it off immediately and began dating exclusively. While their love bloomed quickly, their imprints on the church community continued steadily. They continued to nurture their friend, work, and of course family relationships, as well. We don’t have to tell you how Frank and Lauren are both very unique in the way they pour love into those around them. If they see someone who may be in the slightest need of anything, they are THE first responders. The first to jump in and help ANYONE-A stranger, an acquaintance, a loved one. They love first and ask questions later. We believe they were handpicked by God to be on this earth for greater purpose and they live their lives each day under that philosophy. We also believe that God hand picked Lauren for Frankie. And Frankie for Lauren. Once these two individuals found one another, the earth seriously moved and continues to move anytime the pair walk into a room. Anyone that knows these two, know that the love they have for each other overflows into those around them, wherever they are, wherever they go....And it is from that pure love that they created a baby, Nicholas Frank. The words of Frankie : Nicholas was created from “the purest and truest form of love”; which is why the sudden and tragic loss of their son, Nicholas Frank Petrella at 38 weeks of life in the womb is the most devastating event that any of us have ever experienced. Leaving all of us aching and grieving for Frankie and Lauren. Their hearts are broken beyond measure but they are humbled by the outpouring of support that their family and extended family, of friends and loved ones are showing them. At this time, everyone wants to pour their love back into Frankie and Lauren.
We, Lauren and Frankie’s family members wanted to find a way to funnel people’s love and support into a more functional way to help them. Please don’t feel the need to give at all financially but please be encouraged to share your hearts freely. We created this page, first and foremost, so that others can share in their grief for the loss of Nicholas and express their compassion for Frank and Lauren’s heartache in an organized platform. Please express your condolences, well wishes, encouragement, and prayers for Frankie and Lauren below.
In addition, there has been an overwhelming offering of meals and monetary support by many. With this tragic loss brings unforeseen funeral costs, medical expenses, and lost income and we just don’t want Frankie and Lauren to suffer any more unnecessary burdens. They do not expect anything from anyone and are sincerely touched by all of your love, prayers, and words of comfort. However, our family realizes the reality of the financial burdens ahead and is giving their extended family of friends and loved ones a way to ease an already devastating tragedy.
Our goal of $ 2,024 is more of a symbolic amount in that It represents the day Nicholas Frank Petrella was delivered: 5/01/2018. Those numbers were added to arrive at 2,024. Please don’t feel the need to meet this goal or stop at it.
Frank, Lauren, and Hailey have an arduous and challenging journey ahead. At the moment, they are leaning into each other and inviting the Lord into their grief. They will continue to benefit from long term prayers and emotional support that you are all so unconditionally giving with gracious hearts. Prayers to you all for holding Frankie and Lauren up in such love.
