It is with profound sadness that I sit here in front of my computer, trying to find the words to convey how great of man the world lost yesterday. As a best friend, I want to do everything possible to help out his family during these difficult times. Joe was critically injured in a workplace construction accident on October 28th.
Joseph Fancey was a 32yr old father of two young boys, Abel (3) and Oliver (1). He was the loving husband of Jaymie Fancey and the friend of everyone he came in contact with. Commonly decribed by all as the "nicest guy I know", he was the most genuine, helpful and loving individual I have had the pleasure of calling a friend. Joe was a stand up guy that never hesitated to help anyone out. He was an amazing father and devoted husband that always put others first. He worked long hours every single day to provide for them.
I am hoping to raise enough money to help his wife and children get through these difficult times. Joe was the fulltime worker in the family. As with most young families, Jaymie stayed home to raise the boys and worked part time in the evenings and weekends. With such a tragic turn of events, Jaymie will not be able to work and instead will be focusing on her family during these difficult times.
ALL of the proceeds raised, will go directly to Jaymie and the boys to help with bills, living expenses, education and all the miscellaneous costs that will be incurred going forward. Dealing with the loss of a loved one is hard enough, moving on as a single parent of two boys deserves all the help we can offer.
Joey helped everyone he could, lets return the favour and help his family!
