The Gessner Family Fire Fund

The new year brings excitement and joy for many but on January 1, 2017 the Gessner family experienced heartache instead.  A fire broke out in the barn next to the family's home and quickly spread to the house.  This family of 5 had a rough 2016 with health issues and jobs lossed and we would like to help make this situation easier by having the community help out.  Scott and Lucy are the kind of people that would give you the shirt off their back if you needed it.   Their two sons Jeff and Jamie are also loyal to their community.  Many people know Scott as the produce man.  Every summer him and his mother Helen (who also lives in the house) sit on the front porch and greet you when you stop for some of his garden fresh goodies.
