The ADA compliant Miracle Field Project “is an effort to address the needs of citizens with physical and mental disabilities and their caregivers.”
The park will be all-inclusive, and will engage individuals of all abilities in organized recreation activities or use of the field to play team sports.
Every kid loves to play, but for children with special needs, playgrounds are often times inaccessible. Now, Gallatin is working to change that.
Funds are needed to match the 50/50 grant given by the state of Tennessee. We need to raise over $500,000 for this dream to come true and we need YOUR help.
When complete, the Miracle Park will sit on six acres and be filled with sensory-rich activities, including a modified swing, all-inclusive playground with adaptive wheelchair swing, pedal-park and baseball field.
